With the presence of thousands of people, International Jazz Day was celebrated on Tuesday, April 30, in an outdoor concert that took place at the San Francisco Church in La Paz. This was a six-hour concert with the participation of seven local bands: Gustavo Orihuela Quartet, Zembu Bossa Jazz, Big Band Jazz from Sucre, Bolivia Big Band, Frecuencias Bajas, Carlos Fisher Band and Takesi. Event was organized by the U.S. Embassy, the Municipal Government of La Paz and Gustavo Orihuela Quartet. Event had extensive media coverage.
