Education USA – University Fair

For the first time, Bolivia was included in the EducationUSA Fair circuit. The EducationUSA fair sought to promote different study programs offered at U.S. universities.  Representatives from 17 U.S. universities, EducationUSA advisers, and U.S. Embassy representatives offered advice and information sessions to more than 4,000 students and parents on undergraduate careers, graduate studies, intensive English courses, academic and sports scholarships, admission processes, international exams, student visas, and types of financial aid available.
Participating universities included: Arizona State University, New York University, Florida State University, West Virginia University, and Miami International University of Art and Design, among others.
Last year, more than 1,000 Bolivians were studying in the United States at U.S. higher education institutions and universities. Due to this fair and the attention EducationUSA has received we expect this number to rise. The fair was an opportunity to reach out to new generations of Bolivian youths and an opportunity to recruit in a market never before visited, reaching out to thousands of highly qualified students.
