Enthralled by the public’s embrace of Post’s space outreach, the municipal government of La Paz offered to host a celebration of U.S. space exploration at the city’s main plaza. Approximately 3,000 residents turned out to hear remarks from the CDA a.i. and the municipal district mayor. Exchange alumni skillfully guided participants through exhibit panels telling an in-depth story of space exploration and the Apollo missions.
