Promoting Respect across Cultures and Religions

On January 25, U.S. Embassy Political Officer Sara Greengrass visited the Bi National center Centro Boliviano Americano (CBA) in the city of El Alto to talk to a group of Bolivian students about discrimination, human rights, and the importance of equality.  Ms. Greengrass highlighted  as an example the International Holocaust Remembrance Day (January 27) and the message of “Never Again”  aimed at youth to stop bigotry and promote respect across lines of culture, religion, tradition, class, and gender.

The students who attended this presentation are high school students from the City of El Alto currently receiving a scholarship to study English at the CBA under the U.S. Embassy Access Program.
