Summer interns offer perspective on U.S. university life

On July 17th and 18th, summer interns Nathan Eckstein, Timothy Heigl, Amaury Munoz, Hillary Tanoff, and Emily Wrigley offered their perspectives on university life through two roundtables in Santa Cruz. The first roundtable occurred at Fundacion Trabajo Empresa, with 75 university students studying business and entrepreneurship in attendance; the second roundtable took place at the Santa Cruz Centro Boliviano-Americano, with 60 scholarship students in attendance. Both roundtables were followed by a Q&A session, with questions on topics ranging from university’s culture of diversity to what inspires the interns. For the second roundtable, the interns included a Bolivian English-language scholarship alumni and current student at Berea College in Kentucky.
