US Support for Disaster Response, Bolivia 2019-2020
Aside from protecting the lives of Americans in the country and overseas, the US Government seeks to work together with countries in the region to save lives, ease human suffering and reduce the social and economic impacts of disasters around the world.
For the past year, we have actively partnered with Bolivian healthcare, safety and rescue professionals, and the international community to provide technical assistance and share experiences to face various health and environmental emergencies in Bolivia.
